Requested Benefit:
1. Service-Connected Disability Retirement
Staff Recommendation:
1. Shelisa Williams is not permanently incapacitated for the performance of duties based on the claimed injury(ies)/disease as listed in Exhibit A; therefore, a disability retirement should be denied.
2. If disability retirement is determined at a future hearings stage, the effective date will be November 12, 2021, date of application.
BACKGROUND:
This matter is in closed session because the recommendation is that the member is not permanently incapacitated and therefore, Applicant’s request for a service-connected disability retirement should be denied.
