Recommend that the Board approve and adopt updates to Administration Policy No. 018 (Staff Performance and Evaluation Planning Policy).

BACKGROUND:
General Policy No. 005 involves the periodic review of Board Policies and indicates that the review shall be every three years.
Pursuant to General Policy No. 005, staff has conducted a review of Administration Policy No. 018 (Staff Performance and Evaluation Planning Policy) and has found it is generally consistent with current practice with the exception of a reference to bargaining unit staff SEIU Local 721. Staff is therefore recommending approval of Administration Policy No. 018 with a minor revision removing any reference to SEIU Local 721 as they are no longer the exclusive representative of SBCERA staff. Clarifying language was also added to define the approval process for changing the evaluation forms for staff reporting to the CEO and staff reporting to the Board.
