Requested Benefit:

1.                     Service-Connected Disability Retirement

 

Staff Recommendation:

1.                     John E. Meyers is permanently incapacitated for the performance of duties and a disability retirement should be granted.

 

2.                     John E. Meyers’ disability is service-connected based on the claimed injury(ies)/disease as listed in Exhibit A; therefore, grant a service-connected disability benefit.

 

3.                     Staff shall initiate disability benefit payments with an effective date of April 18, 2024, date of application.
