BACKGROUND:

The State Association of California Retirement Systems (SACRS) is conducting its 2026 Spring Business meeting in-person on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the conclusion of their Spring conference.  The SACRS Bylaws require that each system appoint a Voting Delegate and Alternate Voting Delegate to vote on the system’s behalf at the business meeting.  

 

The SACRS Board of Directors election process began March 1, 2026.  As of March 24, 2026, there is no slate of candidates for the SACRS Board of Directors. 

 

Staff will share the SACRS meeting materials once available in mid-April, and will agendize the SACRS meeting agenda on SBCERA’s May 2026 agenda so that the Board may provide direction to the Voting Delegate, should they desire to do so.
