Provide direction to SBCERA’s voting delegate for the SACRS Business Meeting to be held at the upcoming SACRS Fall Conference on November 14, 2025.

BACKGROUND:
The State Association of California Retirement Systems (SACRS) is hosting its Fall Business Meeting at the conclusion of the 2025 Fall Conference on Friday, November 14, 2025. At the October 2, 2025 Board of Retirement meeting, SBCERA’s Board appointed Trustee Johnson as voting delegate and Debby Cherney as the alternate voting delegate.
Attached as Exhibit A is the complete SACRS Business Meeting packet which primarily includes informational items. There is one action item on the agenda, on which staff recommends a favorable vote:
1. Agenda Item No. 5 - SACRS Legislative Committee Report
Exhibit B is the preliminary agenda for the entire SACRS conference, for the Board’s reference.
