Provide direction to SBCERA Trustee appointed as voting delegate for the SACRS Business Meeting to be held at the upcoming SACRS Spring Conference on May 10, 2024.

BACKGROUND:
The State Association of California Retirement Systems (SACRS) is hosting its Spring Business Meeting at the conclusion of the 2024 Spring Conference on Friday, May 10, 2024. At the April 4, 2024 Board of Retirement meeting, SBCERA’s Board appointed Trustee Hatch as voting delegate.
Attached as Exhibit A is the complete SACRS Business Meeting packet which primarily includes informational items. There are two action items on the agenda, on which staff recommends a favorable vote:
1. Agenda Item No. 6 - 2024/2025 SACRS Board of Directors Elections, and
2. Agenda Item No. 7 - SACRS Audit Report.
Exhibit B is the preliminary agenda for the entire SACRS conference, for the Board’s reference.
