BACKGROUND:

General Policy No. 005 involves the review of Board policies and indicates that the review shall be every three years. 

 

Administration Policy No. 004(Reproduction Charges) addresses charges and procedures related to requests made under the Public Records Act.  The Policy establishes the costs to reproduce records and references statutory requirements governing access to records.  After review of the Policy, staff recommends rescinding Administration Policy No. 004 and instead list the actual cost to reproduce records, currently $0.25 per page, in the SBCERA Master Fee Scheule, eliminating the need for a standalone policy. 

 

All statutory requirements will continue to apply while reproduction costs will remain clearly disclosed through the Master Fee Schedule.

 

COMMITTEE REVIEW:

This item was reviewed by the Administrative Committee at its February 19, 2026 meeting, and recommends Board approval with a 4-0 vote.
