BACKGROUND:
The State Association of California Retirement Systems (SACRS) is hosting its Spring Business Meeting at the conclusion of the 2026 Spring Conference on Friday, May 15, 2026. At the April 2, 2026 Board of Retirement meeting, SBCERA’s Board appointed Trustee Newcomer as voting delegate.
Attached as Exhibit A is the complete SACRS Business Meeting packet which primarily includes informational items. There is one action item on the agenda, to accept the SACRS Nomination Committee Report for the 2026-2027 SACRS Board of Directors Election, on which staff recommends a favorable vote.
Exhibit B is the preliminary agenda for the entire SACRS conference, for the Board’s reference.
