Approve and adopt updates to Education and Training Policy No. 003 (Trustee Travel and Expense Policy).

BACKGROUND:
At the January 8, 2026 Board of Retirement meeting, the Board provided direction to staff to bring Education and Training Policy No. 003 (Trustee Travel and Expense) to the Administrative Committee for updates.
Specifically, the Board asked that Staff include clarifying language in the policy regarding the necessity to attain Board approval in advance for certain training opportunities. Attached as Exhibit A is a redlined version of the policy, incorporating those requested changes.
COMMITTEE REVIEW:
This item was reviewed by the Administrative Committee at its meeting on February 19, 2026, and recommends Board approval with a 3-1 vote.
