Requested Benefit:
1. Service-Connected Disability Retirement
Staff Recommendation:
1. Ronald L. Goddard is permanently incapacitated for the performance of duties and a disability retirement should be granted.
2. Ronald L. Goddard’s disability is service-connected based on the claimed injury(ies)/disease as listed in Exhibit A; therefore, grant a service-connected disability benefit.
3. Staff shall initiate disability benefit payments with an effective date of the day after the last day of regular compensation, which is the day after the expiration of (Labor Code Section 4850 leave or sick leave accruals) the later date as communicated by the employer.
