Requested Benefit:
1. Service-Connected Disability Retirement
Staff Recommendation:
1. Elizabeth Soriano is not permanently incapacitated for the performance of duties based on the claimed injury(ies)/disease as listed in Exhibit A; therefore, a disability retirement should be denied.
2. If disability retirement is determined at a future hearings stage, the effective date will be January 27, 2024, the day after the last day of regular compensation.
BACKGROUND:
This matter is in closed session because the Applicant is not permanently incapacitated and thus, the recommendation is to deny the request for a disability retirement.
