Adopt SBCERA Resolution No. 2025-7 declaring results of the 2025 Board of Retirement election.

BACKGROUND:
In accordance with the approved election calendar, “SBCERA’s CEO shall present a resolution to the Board of Retirement to declare the results of the Election.”
SBCERA’s proposed Resolution No. 2025-7 is attached as Exhibit A. This resolution declares the winners of the 2025 Board of Retirement Election after the conclusion of the official canvass on December 3, 2025.

Voter turnout in the Alternate Retired Member election was 22.89%. Of the 3,253 qualified ballots cast, 35.9% were electronic, and 64.1% were paper ballots.
Based upon the Official Election Results attached hereto as Exhibit B, the Resolution No. 2025-7 declares Louis Fiorino as the successful candidate for the General Member seat and Gary McBride as the successful candidate for the Alternate Retiree seat.
