Approve the attendance and estimated expenses for Louis Fiorino to attend the Institutional Investors Public Funds Roundtable in Los Angeles, CA on April 27-29, 2026.

BACKGROUND:
Under the newly approved Education & Training Policy No. 003 Trustee Travel and Expense Policy, this training is considered an “additional training opportunity” and will count toward the 2-training maximum of additional training opportunities per fiscal year. Advanced Board approval is only required in the event that a Trustee has reached their two additional training opportunities, or if a Trustee wishes to attend an event offered by a provider that is not on the list in the policy.
Under the policy, as Trustee Fiorino has not yet attended two “additional training opportunities”, Board approval is not required. However, this item was added to the agenda for Board approval at the request of Trustee Fiorino.
