Staff Recommendation:
1. Susana Foskett is not permanently incapacitated for the performance of duties and a disability retirement should be denied.
2. If disability retirement is determined at a future hearing stage, the effective date will be August 14, 2023, date of application.
BACKGROUND:
On June 6, 2024, Applicant requested a continuance of the agenda item to the July Board. The Board granted Applicant’s request to continue this matter to the July Board.
This matter is in closed session because the Applicant is not permanently incapacitated and thus, the recommendation is to deny the request for a disability retirement.
