BACKGROUND:
On November 13, 2025, the SBCERA Communications Team earned two Capella Awards from the Public Relations Society of America Inland Empire Chapter for our We Are SBCERA video series. The series was recognized in Tactics: Audio Visual: Long-Form Video and in Campaigns: Community Relations.
The PRSA Polaris Awards program recognizes exemplary public relations efforts that successfully incorporate sound research, planning, implementation, and evaluation. These honors represent the highest standards of performance in the public relations and communications profession within the Inland Empire.
We're proud to serve those who serve San Bernardino communities, and we understand the responsibility we have to effectively communicate with over 52,000 members and 17 employers throughout California. These awards reflect our ongoing commitment to delivering consistent, clear, and helpful messaging
Additionally, Communications Specialist, Cameron Amanno was named the Young Professional of the Year. This award recognizes emerging public relations professionals who demonstrate strong commitment to the profession and the community, and who show the potential to be among the next generation of leaders.
Cameron serves on the PRSA Inland Empire Board of Directors as Social Media Chair and has made a real impact across multiple platforms, from boosting engagement to contributing strategic design work. She has also leveled up our creative work and continues to push innovation forward whenever possible. Her dedication, creativity, and leadership reflect the spirit of service we strive to uphold at SBCERA every day.
