Review and determine the disability retirement application of Pablo E. Garcia Hurtado - County of San Bernardino - Probation.

Requested Benefit:
1. Service-Connected Disability Retirement with Supplemental Retirement Allowance.
Staff Recommendation:
1. Pablo E. Garcia Hurtado is permanently incapacitated for the performance of duties and a disability retirement should be granted.
2. Pablo E. Garcia Hurtado’s disability is service-connected based on the claimed injury(ies)/disease as listed in Exhibit A; therefore, grant a service-connected disability benefit.
3. Pablo E. Garcia Hurtado is not capable of gainful employment; therefore, grant the supplemental disability retirement allowance.
4. Staff shall initiate disability benefit payments with an effective date of the day after the last day of regular compensation; however, the specific date will be determined pending audit of member’s account.
