BACKGROUND:
With the implementation of the new Granicus Legistar system for Board packet creation, confidential materials viewable only from within Granicus’s mobile application, and General Policy No. 019 (SBCERA Technology Assets), Administration Policy No. 010 has become redundant and is no longer required. Legistar and the mobile application have put in place security features to control how Board materials are accessed and by whom, and the Technology Assets policy outlines how SBCERA assets are to be used, including the use of personal assets on SBCERA networks. Accordingly, staff recommends that this policy be rescinded.
