BACKGROUND:
Attached for your review and approval is the 2020 Board of Retirement and Committee meeting date schedule. All regular Board meetings are scheduled for the first Thursday of every month at 9:00 AM, unless otherwise indicated by an asterisk (*).
Investment Committee meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of every month at 10:30 AM and Administrative Committee meetings are scheduled for the third Thursday of every month at 9:00 AM, unless otherwise indicated by an asterisk (*). Additional Audit Committee meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
Please take note of our proposed 2020 Board off-site meeting date of Friday, March 13, 2020 at which SBCERA's Strategic Plan update will be presented to the Board for full discussion, along with an in-depth discussion on SBCERA investment portfolio strategy and construction. SBCERA's Investment Forum dates are confirmed for Wednesday, September 9 - Friday, September 11, 2020 in Lake Arrowhead.
As always, if scheduling conflicts arise throughout the course of the year, SBCERA's administrative offices will coordinate the rescheduling of Board and Committee meeting dates directly with Board and Committee members on an as needed basis.
Due to SBCERA's anticipated construction schedule, Board of Retirement and Committee meetings from December 2019 through March 2020 will likely be held at the following location:
