Requested Benefit:
1. Service-Connected Disability Retirement with Supplemental Retirement Allowance
Staff Recommendation:
1. Ramona Valdez is not permanently incapacitated for the performance of duties based on the claimed injury(ies)/disease as listed in Exhibit A and therefore, a disability retirement should be denied.
2. If disability retirement is determined at a future hearings stage, the effective date will be the day after the last day of regular compensation as determined by staff.
