Requested Benefit:
1. Non-Service Connected Disability Retirement with Supplemental Retirement Allowance
Staff Recommendation:
1. Deborah I. Oliver is permanently incapacitated for the performance of duties and a disability retirement should be granted.
2. Deborah I. Oliver’s disability is non-service connected based on the claimed injury(ies)/disease as listed in Exhibit A; therefore, grant a non-service connected disability benefit.
3. Deborah I. Oliver is not capable of gainful employment; therefore, grant the supplemental disability retirement allowance.
4. Staff shall initiate disability benefit payments with an effective date of March 23, 2013, the day after the last day of regular compensation.
