Requested Benefit:
1. Service-Connected Disability Retirement
Staff Recommendation:
1. Torran Brown is permanently incapacitated for the performance of duties and a disability retirement be granted.
2. Torran Brown’s disability is non-service connected based on the claimed injury(ies)/disease as listed in Exhibit A; therefore, grant a non-service connected disability benefit.
3. Staff shall initiate disability benefit payments with an effective date of March 30, 2019 the day after the last day of regular compensation provided the benefit is requested in writing.
