Requested Benefit:
1. Service-Connected Disability Retirement with Supplemental Retirement Allowance
Staff Recommendation:
1. Emily Danner is permanently incapacitated for the performance of duties and a disability retirement should be granted.
2. Emily Danner’s disability is non-service connected based on the claimed injury(ies)/disease as listed in Exhibit A; therefore, grant a non-service connected disability benefit.
3. Emily Danner is capable of gainful employment; therefore, deny the supplemental disability retirement allowance.
4. Staff shall initiate disability benefit payments with an effective date of September 3, 2016, the day after the last day of regular compensation.
