Provide direction to SBCERA Trustees appointed as voting delegate and alternate voting delegate for the SACRS Business Meeting to be held at the upcoming SACRS Fall Conference on November 13, 2020.

BACKGROUND:
The State Association of California Retirement Systems (SACRS) is hosting its Fall Business Meeting at the conclusion of the 2020 Fall Conference (late morning) on Friday, November 13, 2020. At the October 1, 2020 Board of Retirement meeting, SBCERA’s Board Chair appointed Trustee Williams as voting delegate and Trustee Hatch as alternate voting delegate.
Attached as Exhibit A is the complete SACRS Business Meeting packet which includes informational items primarily, although there are two action items on agenda:
1. SACRS 2018-2019 Audit Report, which is a carry-over item from the Spring 2020 Conference that was cancelled due to COVID-19.
2. SACRS Bylaws Committee Report, which contains information regarding the use of SACRS’ intellectual property, termination of membership and electronic Meetings.
Exhibit B is the agenda for the entire SACRS conference, for the Board’s reference.
