Provide direction to SBCERA Trustees appointed as voting delegate and alternate voting delegate for the SACRS Business Meeting to be held at the upcoming SACRS Fall Conference on November 12, 2021.

BACKGROUND:
The State Association of California Retirement Systems (SACRS) is hosting its Fall Business Meeting at the conclusion of the 2021 Fall Conference (late morning) on Friday, November 12, 2021. At the October 4, 2021 Board of Retirement meeting, SBCERA’s Board Chair appointed Trustee Williams as voting delegate and Trustee Hatch as alternate voting delegate.
Attached as Exhibit A is the complete SACRS Business Meeting packet which includes informational items primarily, although there is one action item on agenda:
1. SACRS Board of Directors Legislative Proposal, which has been outlined in the attached business packet.
Exhibit B is the agenda for the entire SACRS conference, for the Board’s reference, and a presentation regarding the SACRS Legislative Committee proposals will be provided at the Board meeting.
