BACKGROUND:
General Policy No. 005 involves the periodic review of Board Policies and indicates that the review shall be every three years.
Pursuant to General Policy No. 005, staff has conducted a review of Education and Training Policy No. 002 and has found it consistent with current practice. Staff is therefore recommending renewal of Education and Training Policy No. 002 (Staff Education/Training, Travel & Expenses Policy) without substantive change except that staff added outline numbering to be consistent with other policies.
COMMITTEE REVIEW:
This item was reviewed by the Administrative Committee at its April 21, 2022 meeting, and recommended Board approval with a 4-0 vote.
