BACKGROUND:

The State Association of California Retirement Systems (SACRS) is hosting its Spring Business Meeting at the conclusion of the 2022 Spring Conference (late morning) on Friday, May 13, 2022.  At the March 3, 2022 Board of Retirement meeting, SBCERA’s Board Chair appointed Trustee Williams as voting delegate and Trustee Hatch as alternate voting delegate.

 

Attached as Exhibit A is the complete SACRS Business Meeting packet which includes informational items primarily, although there are two action items on agenda:

 

1.                     2022-2023 SACRS Board of Directors Elections; and

2.                     SACRS Audit Report

 

Exhibit B is the agenda for the entire SACRS conference, for the Board’s reference.

 

Exhibits C through E are materials regarding the SACRS sponsored legislation, other CERL bills, and a Brown Act bill.  Staff will provide an update on such legislation and its potential impact on SBCERA.
